Thad is the former Director of Wine for Blue Apron. He has spent over two decades in the food and wine business. After graduating from The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park New York, Thad went on to be the chef/owner of bacaro restaurant in Champaign Illinois from 2001 to 2014. He has an equal love of wine to compliment his love of cooking. He holds a WSET Level 3 Certification in Wine, Certified Sommelier from the Guild of Master Sommeliers, and is a member of the Wine Scholar Guild.
